Like a lot of small businesses, the Covid lockdown really put a crimp in the studio’s shooting schedule. We were out of commission for about a solid six months while we waited for things to improve enough that we could shoot again. I had been chatting with a local model who wanted to come in to do some updated portrait work for her portfolio but the timing just wasn’t right.
During that window I took some time to work on other things like painting new backdrops for the studio and experimenting with some still life photography by shooting some flowers and commercial products. It was a nice break for a couple of months but I started to get antsy to work with people again.
Eventually we were able to sync up once the restrictions were lifted. We shot some simple portraits with a bit of a fashion look to them. Here are a few images from our short session.
